How to reach Pamporovo
Pamporovo is located in the south of Bulgaria in the Rhodope Mountains. The ski resort is around 10 kilometres south of Tschepelare (Chepelare), 15 kilometres north of Smoljan (Smolyan) and around 80 kilometres south of Plowdiw (Plovdiv), Bulgaria’s second-biggest city. The nearest motorway, the A1 Sofia-Burgas, is to the north of Plovdiv. The drive from Sofia is around 3 hours. Other distances: Thessaloniki 5 hours, Istanbul 6 hours, Bucharest 6.5 hours and Belgrade 7 hours. There are several entry points. Many car parks are free of charge

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
It is possible to get a bus from the central bus station, Sofia to Pamporovo.The central bus station is only 10 minutes by metro or 20 minutes by a taxi from the airport (which shouldn’t cost more than 30 lev, 15 euro) and the buses to Pamporovo leave 5 times daily; 8am, 12am, 1pm, 3pm and 4pm. Price is 28-32 lev (14-16 euro) each way. The bus drops you in the center of Pamporovo, traveling is approximately 4-4,5 hrs.
